We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asbestos Expediter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of asbestos regulations and experience working with regulatory agencies to ensure projects remain compliant and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit asbestos notifications and permit applications.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, including the New York State Department of Labor (DOL)and the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
- Track permits, notifications, and project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and compliance records.
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and field personnel to ensure timely project execution.
- Ensure all required documentation is complete and complies with applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry compliance requirements.
- Experience working with DOL and DEP regulations and filing procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous asbestos abatement industry experience is preferred.
