Head of Strategy, Innovation and Commercial

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, this newly created executive role will lead the organisation's strategic growth agenda.

The Head of Strategy, Innovation & Commercial will be responsible for shaping and executing corporate strategy, driving innovation initiatives, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring strategic projects deliver measurable business outcomes. • Lead the development and execution of the organisation's strategic plan.
• Drive enterprise-wide innovation, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and assess new growth opportunities, partnerships and investments.
• Lead merger and acquisition assessments, business cases and due diligence activities.
• Enhance commercial performance through pricing, profitability and revenue optimisation initiatives.
• Establish and oversee strategic project governance and PMO disciplines.
• Drive digital, automation and AI-enabled business improvement programs.
• Conduct market analysis and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making.
• Prepare strategic recommendations, reports and presentations for the CEO and Board.
• Build alignment across the business to ensure strategic priorities are successfully delivered.

About You

You are a commercially minded strategic leader with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with practical execution. You have a strong track record of leading growth, transformation or corporate development initiatives within complex environments and are comfortable influencing at executive and board level.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in strategy, corporate development, consulting, commercial leadership or transformation.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience developing and implementing business growth strategies.
• Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering organisational change.
• A collaborative leadership style and a passion for continuous improvement.
