Quality Inspector Location: Middleville, MI Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM Pay: $17.00 per hour Job Summary Are you detail-oriented with a sharp eye for quality? Workbox Staffing is seeking a motivated Quality Inspector to join our client's outsourced quality sort and inspection team in Middleville, MI. In this seated role, you will be responsible for carefully inspecting water heater components using mirrors and other inspection tools to ensure all parts meet established quality standards before they move through production. What You'll Be Doing As a Quality Inspector, your core responsibilities will include: Perform outsourced quality sort and inspection of water heater parts in a seated work position. Use mirrors and other inspection tools to examine components for defects, non-conformances, and quality issues. Sort and separate parts based on inspection results, ensuring defective components are properly identified and set aside. Maintain accurate count and documentation of inspected and sorted parts. Follow all quality inspection procedures and standards as directed. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift. Communicate any recurring quality concerns or patterns to the supervisor promptly. What We're Looking For Qualifications: Previous quality inspection, sorting, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Strong visual acuity — ability to closely inspect parts for defects and non-conformances. Ability to remain seated and focused for extended periods throughout the shift. Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic. Willingness to work overnight hours (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM). Skills: Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for identifying defects and inconsistencies in parts during inspection. Focus & Concentration: Ability to maintain consistent quality standards over an extended seated shift. Reliability: Committed to showing up on time and completing inspection tasks accurately every shift. Work Conditions & Required PPE This is a seated inspection role in a manufacturing environment. Candidates will use mirrors and hand inspection tools throughout the shift. Safety glasses required. Safety-toe shoes required. Why Join Us?
