Experienced Hospital Pharmacist required for urgent locums in Wide Bay, Queensland. This is an acute hospital. You must have AUSTRALIAN hospital experience. There are two options:
 

• Clinical Pharmacist - 27th July for 3 months – General medical/surgical ward. Must have hospital ward experience and be able to independently manage 20-25 inpatient workload.

• Dispensary Pharmacist – 10th August for 2 months. Australian hospital dispensary experience is preferred.

• Upto $75 per hour + super depending on experience, more for ABN

Experienced Hospital Pharmacists required for urgent locums in Darwin.  This is an acute hospital. The caseload will cover ward based across medical, surgical, renal, cardiology. You must be confident working across the wards.
 
Further details:

• Hours/days per week – 5 days per week, 7.21 hours per day (36.45 hours/week)
• The work will span dispensary, discharge and admissions teams. Inpatients across all areas of the hospital, including medical, surgical, renal, cardiology.
• Join a team of 30 pharmacists
• Accommodation is onsite and is charged at a cost of $155 per week (first 2 weeks waived)
• Return travel allowance is up to $600 (with receipts)
• You must have AHPRA registration and Australian hospital pharmacy experience

URGENT NW TAS - Locum Hospital Pharmacist required

New locum role available in North West Tasmania. The roles are to start ASAP for up to three months. You will be either ward or dispensary based.
 
You will work as a part of the relevant Hospital’s Pharmacy Department and Hospital’s Pharmacy Team to provide a comprehensive, efficient and accountable pharmacy service for hospital inpatients and outpatients.
 
You will have:

• Pharmacy experience in a range of activities such as dispensing or clinical pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting, together with experience in the application of relevant legislation, codes of practice and workplace guidelines in the practice of pharmacy.
•  An understanding of (and preferably experience with) the frameworks used to guide and develop clinical pharmacy services, such as the APAC Guidelines, Pharmaceutical Review, and Medication Management Review programs (e.g., HMR and DMMR).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of the application of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
• Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to assess and evaluate drug regimens and medicines information and provide tailored advice to other healthcare professionals and the patient.
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to contribute effectively as an active member of a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
• History of contributing positively to the workplace and delivering workplace improvements within a continuous quality improvement framework.
• Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills applied to resolve practice-based issues.

Locum rates dependent on experience with accommodation assistance. There is an airport in this town.

Experienced Pharmacist required for hospital based role in the Northern Territory. You will join team of 60 allied health clinicians, including other Pharmacists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Social Worker, Chaplain, ALO. I’ve had great feedback from my current allied health locums.

• ASAP start date for 8 weeks + possible extension

• Standard work hours are 8am- 4:21 pm with a 1 hr unpaid lunch break Monday to Friday
