Job Description:

As a Caregiver at our Kenepuru Village you will work as part of a team that creates the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle for our Memory Care residents. This role is varied and centres around providing personal care and assistance to our resident’s daily lives. The Memory Care Centre is our specialist centre for our Residents living with Dementia.

Typical duties include:

• Keeping residents safe
• Aiding with hygiene, such as showering/toileting
• Assisting with Individual care plan requirements
• Completing progress notes

This role is 4 days on, 2 days off, Night Shifts.

Qualifications:

You will naturally be empathetic, kind and patient, and thrive in a role where your compassion and care make a difference to people’s lives.

You’ll bring with you:

• Experience in aged care or a similar role
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Commitment to a rotational roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts
• Ability to work a roster pattern of 4 days on and 2 days off - night shifts
