The company is now looking to hire a Sales, Marketing & Operations Manager to lead and drive the overall logistics business sector.
This role will oversee end-to-end commercial and operational functions, including sales, marketing, customer service, operations, and business development. The position plays a key role in developing growth strategies, securing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring profitability while maintaining high service standards.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Commercial Growth:
- Lead and oversee the overall Logistics Sector, covering Sales, Operations, Commercial, Customer Service, and related business functions.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business growth, customer retention, and profitability targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and expand total supply chain solutions across assigned industries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders to drive business performance.
Sales & Business Development:
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including customer engagement, solution development, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders, RFQs, and business proposals with competitive logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Review market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to recommend business strategies and pricing improvements.
- Support regional and local business opportunities as assigned by senior management.
Operations & Performance Management:
- Oversee operational activities to ensure service quality, customer satisfaction, and compliance with agreed service levels.
- Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive productivity improvements, process optimization, and effective resource utilization to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor costs and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational performance.
Risk, Compliance & Safety Management:
- Manage business risks and ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
- Identify operational safety risks and implement preventive measures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure employees adhere to workplace safety policies and integrate safety practices into daily operations.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and KPIs.
- Foster a high-performance culture by driving accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Perform additional responsibilities and projects assigned by senior management when required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing commercial and operational functions within the logistics sector.
- Strong background in sales strategy, business development, customer relationship management, and solution selling.
- Experience handling tenders, RFQs, pricing strategies, and supply chain solutions is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations, cost management, and service improvement initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to drive business growth while balancing operational excellence and profitability.
