Stellar Recruitment is partnering with reputable electrical contractors across the Waikato region who are seeking experienced Electricians for a range of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
These opportunities offer both fixed-term and contract arrangements and will see you working on new installations, maintenance, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities. We are looking for tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, prioritise safety, and can deliver high-quality work in fast-paced project environments.

These opportunities offer both fixed-term and contract arrangements and will see you working on new installations, maintenance, upgrades, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities. We are looking for tradespeople who take pride in their workmanship, prioritise safety, and can deliver high-quality work in fast-paced project environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Electrical installation and maintenance
- Reading and interpreting plans and schematics
- Cable installation, terminations, and testing
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Switchboard installation and upgrades
- Testing and commissioning electrical systems
- Repairing and replacing faulty wiring and components
- Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and standards
- Attending toolbox talks and pre-start meetings
- Maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Current EWRB practising licence
- Minimum 3 years' electrical experience
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read electrical drawings and plans
- Commercial and/or industrial project experience is extremely beneficial
- Excellent understanding of health and safety requirements
- Reliable transport and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team
