Job Location: Fellsmere, FL
Pay and Hours: $26.53/hr
Job Description:
- Expected to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in a safe manner and according to the standard set by B & W.
- Travel to farm locations daily to grease equipment and top off fluids on all equipment not currently in use.
- Inspect all assets/equipment for mechanical or safety concerns affecting the equipment or operators.
- Check, adjust, and replace belts on equipment and vehicles as needed.
- Perform minor repairs including, but not limited to:
- batteries
- lights
- wiper blades
- tires
- other basic maintenance items
- Retrieve equipment/assets from field locations and transport them to the shop for repairs when necessary.
- Assist shop mechanics with tasks requiring additional support.
- Report detailed findings from field inspections to the shop, including equipment requiring additional mechanical evaluation, repairs, or parts.
- Accurately, log labor time, equipment numbers, and service information in E-Maint.
- Notify the shop of potential issues identified during inspections or servicing.
- Check all equipment/asset stickers and coordinate replacements for missing or faded stickers, including installation.
Perform both emergency and corrective action repairs.
