Data Engineer (f/m/d)

YOUR ROLE:

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Kafka and other relevant technologies
• Build and manage data storage solutions to support analytics and reporting needs
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for data access and integration
• Provision, configure and maintain cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Using and extending our existing code base working together with our colleagues as well as external development teams
• Communicate efficiently and collaborate with peer engineers to create state of the art products
• Eye on documentation, consistency, and modularity of our code base
• Advancing our development best practices and implement and improve testing and automation

YOUR PROFILE:

• Experience as a Data Engineer with a strong track record of building and maintaining data pipelines
• Substantial experience utilizing and maintaining cloud services, preferably AWS
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Postgres, Kafka, Kubernetes, and REST
• Experienced in Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible etc)
• Versatile, curious minded and you enjoy expanding your areas of expertise
• Communicating and working independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in English and comfortable with remote teamwork
