Apply directWe are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment on a 3 month full-time contract in Melbourne. This role plays a critical part in ensuring finished products are verified and released for distribution accurately and efficiently, supporting the continuous supply of high-quality products to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform verification activities for the release of finished pharmaceutical batches prior to distribution
- Review batch and transport documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Confirm product identity and verify documentation completeness
- Review temperature logs to ensure products have been transported within required conditions
- Conduct packaging checks to ensure correct coding and labelling
- Verify that all quality system requirements (including deviations and changes) have been appropriately addressed
- Liaise with manufacturing sites to raise, investigate, and support the closure of deviations
- 1–2 years’ experience in quality assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or distribution environment
- Sound understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under time pressure
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
