- Full-time position teaching English across Years 7–10
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons
- Utilise high-impact and evidence-based teaching strategies to support student learning
- Monitor and assess student progress and use data to inform teaching practices
- Provide meaningful feedback to students and communicate learning progress with parents and families
- Create an inclusive, positive and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement curriculum programs
- Participate in professional learning, staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings and wider school activities
- Provisional or full Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration, or eligibility for registration
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Ability to teach English across Years 7–10
- Strong knowledge of the relevant English curriculum
- Understanding of effective classroom management and high-impact teaching strategies
- Ability to assess student learning and use data to support student growth
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and Child Safe Standards
- Full-time availability
