Contract Lease Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 12-month contract

Schedule: Standard working hours

Work Arrangement: 100% onsite — no remote or hybrid option

Job Summary

The Contract Lease Analyst reports to the Land Manager and is responsible for reviewing, validating, and maintaining lease document data within Quorum On Demand Land (ODL). This role focuses on ensuring accuracy of lease records, updating payment and obligation information, and identifying and escalating discrepancies as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Review lease documents and related data for accuracy within Quorum ODL.
• Validate and update lease payment information, including:
  • Payment obligations
  • Escalations
  • Lease terms
  • Other related data elements
• Identify discrepancies and communicate issues to the Land Manager.
• Maintain accurate land and lease records.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in land records administration with a focus on:
  • Real property leases
  • Lease payments
  • Payment escalations
  • Lease obligations
• Hands-on experience with Quorum On Demand Land (ODL) is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
  • Excel
  • Word
  • Outlook
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with accuracy and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic land title experience.
• Experience interpreting:
  • Legal descriptions
  • Plats
  • Alignment sheets
  • Maps
• Experience using Google Earth software.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have strong lease administration experience, familiarity with land records systems, and the ability to analyze lease documentation while maintaining accurate records in Quorum ODL. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fully onsite environment.
