IT Application Specialist

A major Canadian automotive parts manufacturer is looking for an individual to take on the role of Business Application Analyst and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- Consolidate business and stakeholder requirements and propose and develop high quality solutions
- Participate as a BA in projects with other countries as well as local teams within the company (requirements analysis, testing, etc.)
- Analyze business needs, create business requirements, create and execute test plans from user perspective
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the business and internal IT department and prepare regular reports
- Operation and management of internal business systems such as order management, purchasing management, etc.
- EDI system and server maintenance, etc.

Required skills:
- Proven experience in system implementation and operation in the EDI/ERP domain
- Experience in administration and operation of business web applications
- Experience in upstream processes in application development is a plus

Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, with a 1-hour break (Monday to Friday)
Work Style: Hybrid (generally 4 days in the office and 1 day remote per week)
Holidays: Saturdays and Sundays (Note: Public holidays are working days; in return, there are extended holidays during summer, year-end/New Year, and Golden Week.)
