With continued growth creating greater complexity across the finance function, they are looking for a hands on Finance Manager who can take ownership of the day to day function, lead the team and bring a strong commercial lens to the numbers.
The role will initially commence as a three month contract, with a genuine view to permanent for the right person.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing month end, general ledger and balance sheet activities
- Managing and supporting the AP and AR functions
- Reviewing financial performance and providing meaningful commentary and insights
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow activities
- Ensuring strong financial controls, reconciliations and reporting processes
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve finance processes
- Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
- Leading, mentoring and developing the existing finance team
- Supporting the ongoing evolution and structure of the finance function
- Assisting with ad hoc commercial analysis and finance projects
You will be an experienced Finance Manager or strong Senior Financial Accountant ready to step into a broader leadership role.
You will ideally bring:
- Strong financial and management accounting experience
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a finance team
- A hands on approach and willingness to get into the detail
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to look beyond the numbers
- Confidence working with senior and operational stakeholders
- A proactive approach to process improvement and problem solving
- The ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, growing environment
