Warehouse Associate – Returns Department (Heavy Lifting Required)

A busy home furnishings warehouse is hiring dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join our Returns Department. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload large area rugs from trucks and warehouse storage.

  • Move, organize, and stack returned merchandise safely and efficiently.

  • Inspect returned products for damage and assist with processing returns.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.

  • Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity goals.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the entire shift.

  • Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.

  • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, where temperatures may be hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance are required.

  • Clear background check and drug screening are required before employment.

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
