A skilled excavator operator required for a stock water development  operating a 14T Hitachi machine

  • Located in the attractive Waitaki Valley, centrally located to town centres, rivers and hunting on your door step
Located on the northern side of the Waitaki Valley, Mt Parker Farm is a semi high country property on 1,500 hectares. The land consists of river flats, rolling downs and tussock reaching 2,100 feet in elevation.  Currently a sheep and beef breeding and finishing unit, and dairy support, the property is intensifying its farming practices through an extensive development programme to maximise production and productivity. 
 
The ideal candidate will possess:  
  • Extensive experience in operating excavators
  • The ability to be reliable and work autonomously
  • Ability to show initiative and be responsible for their work
  • A positive self-starting attitude, a strong work ethic and practical skills
  • Excellent communication and self-management skills
A market competitive hourly rate will be negotiated with the successful applicant. Accommodation is available for the right person if not local.
