Backend Engineer（Java/Kotlin）（8234）

A Global IT Service firm is looking for a Backend Engineer.
As an Application Engineer, you will use your development skills to build applications, by working on requirements (gathering, definition), supporting QA team to design entire test plan (functional, operational, failure, load, etc.), risk assessment, and supporting release activity. You will also come up with innovative ideas to help the product and the team, in order to improve overall efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities:
- Consult with architects
- Collaborate with Product Manager, QA, DevOps, and remote teams
- Design a solution as well as software development
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand and define requirements
- Take responsibility of the product, monitoring, troubleshooting and bug-fix when needed
- Create and maintain technical documentation

Required skills:
- 3 years or more experience in Java and/or Kotlin development
- Experience on server application design and development including middleware
- Knowledge of software development principles and hands-on programming experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
- A strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn new software and systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Web technologies such as http, RESTful API, cookies, etc.
- Database Experience either of Relational, Redis, Cassandra

Working hours: 9:00 - 17:30 (Mon-Fri)
