• If on ABN RN8+ $118 an hour (inclusive of GST & Super) + penalties, + on-call rates, in-charge rates are $105 per shift, plus overtime (1.5 - 2 times your shift rate) available whilst on-call.
• If PAYG up to RN8 $100 an hour (weekday) + weekend penalties + super, + on-call rates, in-charge rates are $100 per shift, plus overtime (1.5 - 2 times your shift rate) available whilst on-call. (Base rate taking into account weekly expenses and pay roll specialist GNA, also get salary packaging as well!)
• On-Site accommodation provided + $200 a week for expenses OR up to $616 a week- tax free for those who don’t want onsite accommodation (Can put towards accommodation and expenses). rest on car hires, Ubers and food.
• Can use the expense money for car hire. 
• LAFHA HUGE: up to16.6% extra on take home pay with our amazing tax savings (our average staff member). - Literally $400-$500 + per pay packet. 
• Huge on-call rates which is 10% of shift rate - 2-3 times higher than average
• Overtime is only when on-call, it’s 1.5 – 2 times the shift rate

We are seeking two experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for contracts at a Level 2 hospital in a remote Indigenous community in the Gulf region of North-West Queensland.
This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable remote nursing experience, work within a supportive team and make a meaningful contribution to a community of approximately 2,000 people.
The Contract

• Start date: 28 August 2026 - flexible
• Flexible contracts from 4–12 weeks

The Facility

About YouYou will be an experienced Emergency Department RN who is adaptable, clinically confident and comfortable working in a remote environment.
You will ideally have:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
• Recent Emergency Department experience
• Strong acute assessment and triage skills
• Current ALS and emergency nursing competencies
• Ability to work confidently and autonomously
• Rural, remote or Indigenous health experience highly regarded
• Flexibility and a collaborative approach
• Ability to meet Queensland Health and North West Hospital and Health Service compliance requirements
