Project Manager – ICT Transformation
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Employment Type: Short-Term Labour Hire
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a key ICT project within a broader transformation program.
This role will focus on stabilising project delivery, strengthening governance, and driving the successful completion of remaining project phases.
About the Role:
Reporting into the transformation program, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of an active ICT project, ensuring alignment with broader ICT strategy and roadmap objectives.
You will assess the current project status, identify risks and dependencies, and establish an integrated delivery plan across key workstreams including change management, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, governance, release planning, and transition to business-as-usual.
Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will provide end-to-end project leadership, ensuring delivery outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an integrated project plan across all delivery workstreams
- Review and refine project scope, including in-scope, out-of-scope and deferred items
- Strengthen governance processes, including Steering Committee reporting and support
- Coordinate activities across business and ICT stakeholders
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and actions
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefings and project documentation for senior stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with broader ICT transformation objectives and strategic priorities
- Support consistent project delivery practices within the ICT Transformation Office
- Lead transition planning and business-as-usual handover activities
- Proven experience delivering complex ICT projects, preferably within Victorian Government or public sector environments
- Strong project recovery, remediation or delivery stabilisation experience
- Demonstrated ability to work across business and technical teams to drive outcomes
- Experience supporting governance forums, executive reporting and assurance activities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification in ICT, Business, Project Management or a related discipline
- Formal project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent
