Internal Sales Executive

Location: Dublin 24

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established and growing team within a leading engineering and industrial solutions business.

This is a customer-focused internal sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping customers and working closely with a wider sales team.

The Role

You will be a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and supporting the wider sales team.

You'll work closely with customers and Area Sales Managers to ensure orders are processed smoothly and customer requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal with customer queries by phone and email
  • Prepare and issue customer quotations
  • Process customer orders accurately
  • Check product availability and stock
  • Coordinate deliveries and follow up on orders
  • Manage customer requests and tickets
  • Identify potential issues that could delay customer orders
  • Maintain strong customer relationships
  • Make proactive check-in calls to existing customers
  • Identify customer trends and opportunities
  • Support the wider sales team with day-to-day customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate customer information on the CRM system

What We're Looking For

We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in internal sales, customer service, sales support, order processing or a similar customer-facing commercial role.

You'll ideally have:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A friendly and approachable personality
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn technical products and processes
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Previous Salesforce or SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Experience within electrical, automation, distribution or engineering environments is advantageous
