The Opportunity
Techforce Personnel is currently seeking experienced Raisebore Drillers for an exciting long-term FIFO opportunity with a leading underground drilling contractor.

Working on a 2:2 FIFO roster (days and nights), you'll be responsible for operating industry-leading raise bore equipment across a range of underground mining projects. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, this is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment with a contractor that values safety, teamwork and career development.
Mobilisation from Australian capital cities will be considered for successful candidates.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate raise bore drilling equipment across underground mining operations.
• Complete drill rig set-ups, pilot hole drilling and reaming activities.
• Conduct daily pre-start inspections and routine operator maintenance.
• Perform equipment inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Complete operational documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in daily pre-start meetings and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and work collaboratively with the onsite team.

What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous Raisebore Drilling experience.
• Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence.
• HR Driver's Licence.
• HRWL (DG/RB minimum).
• Current Working at Heights ticket.
• Integrated Tool Carrier Ticket (RIIHAN311 or equivalent).
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Full Australian working rights.

The following will be highly regarded:

• Experience operating Atlas Copco 71R, 72R, 73R or 91R Raise Bore rigs.
• Telehandler ticket.
• CN Crane Licence.
• Certificate III in Drilling Operations.
