Make Safety Clear. Make Safety Count.

We're partnering with a growing industrial manufacturer seeking a Bilingual EHS / Safety Professional to help drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives across a busy manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on, floor-focused safety role where you'll work directly with production employees, supervisors, and leadership to identify hazards, improve safe-work practices, investigate incidents, and maintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations.

A key part of the position is making sure safety expectations are clearly understood across the workforce. You'll provide training, orientations, toolbox talks, and day-to-day safety communication in both English and Spanish.

If you're an experienced safety professional who enjoys being visible on the production floor and working directly with employees to improve safety culture, this is an opportunity to make a measurable impact.

What You'll Own

Safety & Compliance

  • Promote company safety policies and help ensure they are consistently followed throughout the facility.

  • Conduct routine safety inspections, observations, and audits across manufacturing and production areas.

  • Monitor compliance with OSHA requirements and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Identify workplace hazards and work with operations to implement effective corrective measures.

  • Monitor PPE use and safe-work practices throughout the production environment.

  • Help strengthen safety awareness and accountability across all levels of the organization.

Bilingual Training & Communication

  • Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, training sessions, and other safety communications in both English and Spanish.

  • Clearly communicate safety policies, procedures, and expectations to Spanish-speaking employees.

  • Work directly with production personnel to answer safety questions and reinforce safe operating practices.

  • Help ensure employees understand workplace hazards and the proper methods for preventing injuries.

  • Partner with supervisors and management to address safety communication gaps.

Incident Investigation & Corrective Action

  • Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions.

  • Gather information, document findings, and identify contributing factors.

  • Participate in root-cause investigations and help develop corrective and preventive actions.

  • Follow up on corrective actions to ensure identified issues are properly addressed.

  • Identify recurring safety concerns and recommend practical improvements.

Documentation & Regulatory Support

  • Maintain accurate safety and environmental records, including training documentation, inspection reports, incident records, and corrective actions.

  • Support OSHA compliance activities and regulatory documentation.

  • Assist with environmental compliance and proper handling, storage, and disposal of materials and waste.

  • Help prepare documentation for inspections, audits, and internal safety reviews.

  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning.

Operations Partnership

  • Work closely with production supervisors and operations leadership to improve safety performance.

  • Spend significant time on the manufacturing floor observing operations and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide practical safety guidance that supports both employee protection and production goals.

  • Help supervisors address unsafe conditions and reinforce accountability.

  • Build strong working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve workplace health, safety, and environmental performance.

  • Support initiatives designed to reduce incidents, improve employee awareness, and strengthen safety practices.

  • Track safety concerns and help evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.

  • Participate in safety improvement projects and other operational initiatives.

  • Promote a proactive safety culture focused on preventing incidents rather than simply reacting to them.
