Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established and highly regarded infrastructure advisory consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Northern Territory team.

This is a unique opportunity for a commercially astute QS who enjoys solving complex contractual and financial challenges on major infrastructure projects. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide independent commercial advice, analyse contractor submissions, and support the successful delivery of high-profile government and infrastructure programs. 

The Opportunity
This is a hands-on senior role suited to someone who thrives on commercial analysis rather than business development. The position offers a blend of:

• Commercial advisory and independent financial review work
• Assessment of claims, variations and contractual entitlements
• Review of contractor cost submissions and financial positions
• Preparation of clear, evidence-based recommendations and reports
• Cost planning, estimating and project cost analysis
• Exposure to significant government and infrastructure projects across the Northern Territory

You will join a high-performing team that values accountability, critical thinking and quality delivery. 

About You
To be successful, you will bring:

• 7+ years' experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or Contract Administration
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial principles
• Experience assessing claims, variations, cost submissions and project financials
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong report-writing and stakeholder communication capability
• The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of deliverables
• A professional, solutions-focused approach
