Web Developer

Overview

Client is seeking a Web Developer to maintain and implement responsive websites and web applications. This role will develop standards-compliant front-end solutions, translate approved requirements and wireframes into production-ready code, and support new development, content maintenance, and functional enhancements.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications using Adobe ColdFusion, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related front-end technologies.
• Translate design research, mockups, and approved requirements into responsive web solutions.
• Create wireframes that demonstrate page interactions, including dynamic menus and expandable content.
• Build production-ready prototypes using established UX design patterns.
• Develop fast-loading, standards-compliant layouts that work across browsers.
• Ensure solutions meet end-user needs and established brand guidelines.
• Test internally developed and vendor-provided code using established standards.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate their suitability for web development projects.
• Apply coding best practices that support accessibility, security, quality, and SEO.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of experience with responsive front-end web technologies and cross-browser compatibility.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe ColdFusion.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, Node.js, Bootstrap, jQuery, and DOM manipulation.
• Experience developing accessible websites using W3C WAI and Section 508 standards.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready web interfaces.
• Understanding of secure coding, web quality standards, and SEO best practices.

Preferred Skills or Experience

• React or AngularJS experience.
• Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience.
