The Quality Control Inspector will perform mechanical, electrical and visual inspections of
incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods used in the production of
products according to documented test and inspection methods.

Responsibilities:
Perform all Quality Control activities as required to ensure that production plans and
objectives are completed. Coordinate with other departments to prioritize inspections and
record reviews as appropriate.
Assist with resolving quality problems within the inspection department, such as
documentation or non-compliance issues.
Perform Quality Control Inspections of Incoming Materials, In-Process Assemblies and
Finished Products as required following written procedures.
Review completed process travelers for accuracy and completeness and perform product
documentation final release reviews.
Complete and file quality records including process travelers and nonconforming material
reports.
Maintain the Quality Control Inspection area in a neat and orderly manner.
Make suggestions as how to improve the quality control process.
Assist QA as required to perform first article inspections, nonconformance investigations,
and process qualifications.
Assist Engineering and Quality Assurance to perform component validation and
characterization testing.
Other duties as required.

Requirements:
5+ years in an inspection role
High school diploma or GED certificate
Ability to read and write English
Ability to distinguish surface details and characteristics
Preferred:
IPC Certification
Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly trainable and responsible
Basic familiarity with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to utilize a computer to enter data and prepare reports
Basic familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 Quality System Requirements.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand,
walk, sit, use hands to finger, reach with arms and hands, climb stairs, stoop, kneel,
crouch, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
prevalent at the time and an air-conditioned and heated office. The noise level is
occasionally high.
