Safety & Return to Work Coordinator

Acclaimed Workforce and Bayside Group are employment and workforce management specialists, supporting a diverse portfolio of sites and on-hire workforces across Australia, which may require travel on occasion. With strong systems and a safety-first culture, we focus on doing the fundamentals well: compliance, early intervention, and practical support for people at work.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing Return to Work coordination with broader WHS support and stakeholder management. You will work closely with injured workers, medical providers, insurers, and internal leaders to drive safe, timely outcomes.
If you are organised, calm under pressure, and confident navigating WorkCover processes while building trust with people, this role will give you meaningful impact and variety.

About the Role:

• Coordinate return to work function
• Liaise with multiple internal parties, including WorkCover and clients
• Maintain case notes, records and statistics
• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions
• Conduct workplace assessments
• Actively participate in the quality safety program for continual improvement
• Lead and coordinate safety meetings and toolboxes including preparing data and minutes
• Lead client safety meetings and produce meeting minutes 
• Provide recruitment support to consultants by maintaining and updating databases and coordinating onboarding activities
• Support in relationship management with clients, on-hire employees and candidates, pre- and post-placement, achieving positive outcomes and meeting their long-term needs

Skills and Experience:

• Must have Return to Work Coordinator Certification
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities with a strong attention to detail
• Clear and concise communication with team members and customers
• Ability to interact with a diverse group of people
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Providing timely and helpful responses to enquiries and requests
• Willingness to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities while staying calm and composed under pressure
• Taking initiative to improve processes, solve problems, and enhance efficiency while being able to work independently
• Collaborative mindset, willing to share knowledge and skills with colleagues
