Delivery Consultant Application Modernization

A world’s leading cloud service provider, is seeking an experienced Delivery Consultant – Application Modernization, Technology & Industry Applications to join its Cloud Professional Services team.
The role focuses on helping enterprise customers modernize their applications and adopt cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with customers, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, design scalable and secure solutions, and lead end-to-end implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex, scalable, secure, and highly available solutions based on customer requirements
- Lead application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across the full software development lifecycle
- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Develop cloud-native applications and services using AWS and modern software engineering practices
- Provide technical leadership, guidance, and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
- Lead teams delivering production-ready software involving multiple features and components
- Define and execute application migration and modernization strategies
- Collaborate with architects, developers, project managers, customers, and Partner Network teams
- Ensure best practices across architecture, development, testing, deployment, security, performance, and operations
- Advise customers on emerging technologies, industry trends, and innovative cloud solutions
- Incorporate Generative AI and Agentic AI approaches into software engineering and modernization initiatives where appropriate
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design workshops, and customer presentations

Required Technical Skills:
- Overall 10+ Years of Technical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in technical consulting or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Strong hands-on programming experience in at least one of the following: Java, .NET / C#, Python
- Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Software Architecture
- Proven experience independently leading a technical team delivering production-ready software solutions
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications and solutions. (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Knowledge or practical experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI in software engineering or application modernization is highly desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
- Experience working directly with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience with pre-sales, RFPs, solution proposals, or solution architecture is preferred
