Lead Manufacturing Excellence in a Fast-Growing Nutrition Business
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Manager to join a rapidly growing manufacturing business operating within the functional nutrition, beverage and FMCG sectors.
This is a key leadership role for an ambitious production professional who enjoys driving performance, developing teams and creating structure within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading daily production operations, improving efficiencies and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products safely, consistently and efficiently.
The Role
Reporting to senior management, the Production Manager will be responsible for leading manufacturing operations, managing production teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day production operations across all manufacturing areas.
- Drive production performance through effective planning, KPI management and continuous improvement.
- Lead, motivate and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
- Monitor productivity, labour utilisation and overall operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, health & safety and company procedures.
- Work closely with Quality, Planning, Maintenance, Warehouse and NPD teams to optimise operations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support employee development, training and performance management.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager or similar leadership role.
- Experience within food, beverage, nutrition, FMCG or another high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, organisational and decision-making abilities.
- Good understanding of food safety, quality systems and health & safety standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
