An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Coffee Technician to join a growing service team, supporting customers across M25 region. This field‑based role is perfect for someone who loves great coffee as much as they enjoy solving technical challenges, offering up to £36k, Monday–Friday schedule without a weekend rota, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. You’ll be responsible for repairs, installations, maintenance, customer training, documentation, and delivering exceptional service while representing a modern, dynamic business that prides itself on quality, innovation, and a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities of the Coffee Technician
- Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial coffee equipment across customer sites and company locations. You will diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment remains operational to the highest standards.
- Working independently and as part of a wider service team, you will manage your workload effectively, meet service level agreements and key performance indicators, maintain accurate service records through the company's service management system, and provide customers with technical advice to improve equipment reliability and performance. When not attending customer sites, you will support the workshop team carrying out equipment servicing and refurbishment.
- The role will involve regular travel throughout the region, with occasional overnight stays required to support customer projects, installations, and service requirements across the UK.
Requirements of the Coffee Technician
- Previous experience as a Coffee Machine Technician, Field Service Engineer, Catering Equipment Engineer or similar role.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial coffee equipment, including boilers, pumps, grinders and associated systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
