Technical Project Manager - Database Platform Team　(PSR-8302)

A Global IT firm is looking for a Technical Project Manager in the Database platform team. The Database section, designs, builds, develops, maintains, and supervises database infrastructure and ensuring that the entire Data related needs are met with dedication and scale, while providing high availability that our customers expect.

Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex Database Platform projects, including DBaaS platform rollouts, Upgrades, Benchmarking, Capacity Planning, Observability and database security projects
- Agile Management: Scrum/Kanban frameworks, leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming and retrospectives
- Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary interface between core engineering teams (DBAs, DevOps, Cloud Architects) and BSS stakeholders to communicate timeline status and mitigate risks
- Dependency & Risk Management: Proactively identify, track, and resolve cross-functional dependencies, resource constraints, and technical blockers
- Resource Tracking: Manage project allocation, capacity planning, and infrastructure forecasting. Communication strategy and planning with stakeholders
- DBaaS Lifecycle Management: Lead large-scale projects related to the DBaaS ecosystem, including platform migrations, version upgrades, and decommissioning of legacy database instances
- Infrastructure Project Delivery: Manage cross-functional infrastructure projects, such as scaling database clusters, implementing new database technologies, and optimizing storage/compute resources for high-availability environments
- Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with SREs, DBAs, and App Developers to map out project requirements, align technical dependencies, and ensure seamless cutovers with minimal impact on production services
- Risk & Compliance: Manage critical infrastructure risks, including data security, compliance audits, and service continuity plans. Proactively identify bottlenecks in the database delivery pipeline
- Reporting & Governance: Maintain visibility into project health using Jira and Confluence. Provide clear status reporting to executive leadership regarding milestone progress, resource allocation, and  tracking
- Operational Excellence: Drive the standardization of project documentation and delivery processes across the database platform organization
- Align with Project Management standards and methodologies

Required Skills：
- Project Management experience in Infrastructure/DBaaS space
- Technical Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Translate technical challenges and solutions to Non Technical audience
- Manage Risk and CJIRAomplex Dependencies
- Proficiency in complete project lifecycle - Project Planning, Gantt Charts, Execution (Defining Milestones, Work Breakdown Structure etc), Dependency mapping, Project Monitoring and Control, Closure
- Proficiency in Jira & Confluence
- Agile/ITIL Framework
- Incident/Change/Problem Management
- Handle multiple projects in parallel, map dependencies, prioritization
