Global Ammonia Product Lead - Commercial, UK.

The successful candidate will join a worldwide business, that are the leading Ammonia trading platform in the world.

The client has nearly 4000 employees are looking for a Global Ammonia Product Lead to be based from their commercial offices in the UK. They will provide overall leadership for the Ammonia arm of the business, leading a team of traders and other industry professionals to maximize the organizations’ commercial strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Actively work along all channels to establish appropriate levels of communication and a strong level of governance.
• Identify and develop top talent.
• Have a collaborative approach and engage with individuals on a regular basis across products and regions.
• Will use industry knowledge to assess and analyze current and future markets.
• Define strategy to the team and guide in reaching their potential to augment the businesses potential.
• Will focus on the products direction within the market and its future development to establish new business and customers.

What you need:

• A degree in an engineering and/or business-related field.
• Proven knowledge of the chemical and fertilizer industry – knowledge of Ammonia production is essential, and an understanding of the developing industry is key.
• Demonstrate leadership and entrepreneurship that has knowledge or experience within a trading background.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in international commercial leadership roles in the fertilizer industry, ideally Nitrogen related operations, covering major agricultural and fertilizer markets.
