Chandler Macleod is currently seeking experienced Chefs to join a high-performing team at a large-scale catering facility in Mascot.
Our client is a leading food manufacturer, delivering high-quality meals to many of the world’s major airlines.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-volume, in-flight meals while maintaining exceptional quality standards in a fast-paced, commercial kitchen environment.
This is a Temporary role offering varying shift across Mon - Sun, with genuine opportunities for ongoing and permanent positions.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-volume, in-flight meals while maintaining exceptional quality standards in a fast-paced, commercial kitchen environment.
This is a Temporary role offering varying shift across Mon - Sun, with genuine opportunities for ongoing and permanent positions.
Shift times:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM
- Prepare, cook, and assemble meals according to flight specifications, including dietary requirements
- Follow recipes and production instructions accurately
- Perform repetitive lifting and manual handling (up to 25kg)
- Adhere to HACCP and OHS policies and procedures
- Work to tight deadlines and adapt to scheduling changes
- Manage production volumes, stock levels, and quantities
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the process
- Supervise and support Catering Attendants
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Recent experience in a high-volume kitchen or food manufacturing environment
- Ability to complete a 2-hour onsite trial
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including on-call shifts and overtime
- Reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative
- A passion for food quality and customer satisfaction
