Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Educational Diagnostician to join our team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help develop individualized educational programs (IEPs). The ideal candidate is student-focused, organized, and knowledgeable about special education laws and assessment practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct educational and cognitive assessments for students referred for evaluation.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, comprehensive evaluation reports.
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications
- Valid Educational Diagnostician certification (state-specific).
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
