A07 Principal Business Analyst

Public Sector People are working with QLD State Gov Department here in Brisbane CBD who are seeking an experienced A07 Principal Business Analyst to join their team on a 6-month contract (+ extension).

Overview

• QLD State Government
• AO7 Principal Business Analyst
• Brisbane CBD
• Attractive pay rates from $87 p/h + 12% Super (PAYG)
• August start - Initial 6-month contract + extension.

Responsibilities:

• Business analysis in large or complex programs, preferably within government or major infrastructure projects.
• Requirements gathering and documentation, including translating business needs into system requirements and functional specifications
• Data management and reporting, particularly working with large. datasets used to track performance, commitments, benefits, risks, and outcomes.
• Stakeholder engagement, including working with senior leaders to identify and validate requirements.
• Systems analysis and implementation, including assessing business processes and recommending system improvements or solutions.
• Testing and validation, such as developing test plans, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
