Experienced Architects

Design & Build are partnering with a national design practice looking to add Experienced Architects to their growing Brisbane team contributing to some of the city’s most exciting retail, mixed-use and multi-residential projects.

This is an opportunity for a talented architect to take a project from concept through to delivery, with involvement across design, documentation, coordination, master planning, urban design and placemaking.

The Role:

• Lead and evolve design concepts throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining strong design intent through to delivery.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, engineers and contractors to deliver well-coordinated, buildable outcomes.
• Develop high-quality documentation, 3D models and presentations
• Present design concepts with confidence and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Undertake site visits, resolve construction challenges and oversee design quality through delivery.
• Contribute to project planning, budgets, timelines and overall project outcomes.
• Stay curious and informed on emerging materials, technologies and construction methodologies.

To be considered you will need:

• At least 5 years' post-Masters experience
• Australian Registered Architect highly regarded 
• Proven experience delivering projects across retail, mixed-use or multi-residential.
• Advanced Revit and BIM knowledge.
• Experience with Rhino, Photoshop and InDesign highly desirable 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills engaging with clients, consultants and project teams.
• A creative mindset, strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for delivering considered architecture.
