Managed Services Director (Japan & APAC)

As the Managed Services Director for the Asia-Pacific Japan region, you will oversee the service delivery and team management, customer engagement, as well as services’ business management for the region.  

What you will do

• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to staff
• Interface with C-suite level customers on a routine basis in Japanese and English
• Manage the launch, enablement, revenue control of managed services sold and delivered in the region.
• Regular engagement with other regions and teams within the larger Managed Services organization.
• Represent the interests of the region while seeking and leading solutions to enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee service delivery operations for the region.

Requirements

What we are looking for

• 10+ years of experience working in cybersecurity
• 6+ years of management experience
• Familiarity with triage processes, whether for cybersecurity, e-fraud, or other similar investigation methodologies
• Familiarity with endpoint security, digital forensics 
• Former SOC or IR experience preferred
• Technical competency a requirement
• Familiarity with common security tools and frameworks
• A clear passion and enthusiastic about cyber security
• Coding or scripting experience an advantage
• Motivation to constantly improve processes and methodologies, self-motivated and results-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• Fluent Japanese and Business-level English speaker
• Good written and oral communication skills, experience with working with Japanese and international customers
• Degree in relative field preferred
