Project Manager / Senior Project Support Officer – Procurement Transformation
6-month contract | Brisbane CBD | $96-$106/hr + Super | Possible Hybrid working available

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Support Officer to support a major Procurement Uplift Program within a large and complex Queensland Government environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, vendors and implementation partners, you will play a key role in the delivery of strategic procurement initiatives, including the implementation of the Queensland Procurement Solution (VendorPanel) and coordination with the SAP S/4HANA program. This is an excellent opportunity for a project professional with experience in procurement transformation, business process improvement, systems implementation, governance and stakeholder engagement to contribute to a high-profile digital and operational transformation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project governance, reporting, RAID management and milestone tracking.
  • Support delivery of procurement transformation initiatives, including VendorPanel implementation and procurement process uplift.
  • Coordinate interdependent deliverables across procurement and SAP S/4HANA workstreams.
  • Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, SMEs, vendors and implementation partners.
  • Develop project artefacts including briefing notes, reports, communications, dashboards and executive updates.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies and escalation pathways.
  • Support change management, business readiness and adoption activities.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities, including transitioning manual processes to digital platforms.

About You
You will bring:
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management, PMO, Project Coordination or Senior Project Support roles within complex organisations.
  • Experience delivering business transformation, systems implementation or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with procurement functions, procurement systems or procurement transformation programs.
  • Exposure to VendorPanel, SAP S/4HANA, ERP, P2P or sourcing platforms will be highly regarded.
  • Strong governance, reporting, risk and issue management capability.
  • Excellent written communication and MS365 skills.
  • Agile project delivery experience or certifications highly regarded.
