As a result of recent project wins, they’re growing their civil team and now seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the Brisbane office.
THE ROLE
This role will see you working across a diverse range of public and private sector projects including streetscapes, recreational parks and facilities, education, and transport infrastructure.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll take ownership of design and project delivery while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with key stakeholders.

As a result of recent project wins, they’re growing their civil team and now seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join the Brisbane office.
THE ROLE
This role will see you working across a diverse range of public and private sector projects including streetscapes, recreational parks and facilities, education, and transport infrastructure.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll take ownership of design and project delivery while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare concept and detailed civil designs that meet brief, budget, and buildability requirements
- Deliver accurate, error-free designs and reports with a focus on practical outcomes
- Manage civil documentation across all phases – from concept to construction
- Review and approve work from junior and intermediate engineers
- Lead and coordinate with clients, consultants, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Understand local authority standards, approvals processes, and design impacts
- Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Support project bids, proposals, and submissions when required
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in civil engineering within a local Australian consultancy
- Strong technical design skills using Civil 3D
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from design through delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience across urban development, roads, drainage, and public infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and mentor junior staff effectively
- Proactive and adaptable mindset – you thrive in a dynamic team
