Job Overview:
Orur fit-out carpenter role will be responsible for the lock-up and final fit-out stages of commercial projects. This includes installing doors, frames, internal partitions, ceilings, and other essential finishing work to ensure that the building is secure and ready for further internal work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing door frames, windows, architraves, skirting, stud walls during the lock-up phase.
- Working closely with other trades to ensure smooth transitions between different stages of construction.
- Handling and installing specialized fixtures and fittings in commercial spaces.
- Ensuring all materials are installed according to design and specification.
- Conducting site inspections to identify potential issues and resolve them.
- Experience with commercial-grade materials and fixtures.
- Proven experience in lock-up and fix carpentry
- Strong experience with both carpentry and finishing work
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Previous experience with lock-up and fix
- Trade certification in carpentry.
