Overview
Redpath Partners is partnering with a specialised blast and coating facility supporting a major Australian defence shipbuilding program. We are recruiting an Project Administrator to support the delivery of complex industrial and infrastructure projects.
A rapidly expanding global leader in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry is looking for an Adelaide-based Project Administrator to keep our multi-million-dollar projects on track.
In this role, your precision, organisation, and ability to stay one step ahead will make the difference between good projects and great ones. If you thrive on structure, accuracy, and supporting teams with flawless execution, this is the role for you.
The Role
As a Project Administrator, you will:
- Support Project Managers and Engineers by keeping schedules, budgets, and documentation accurate and up to date.
- Take ownership of project controls: forecasting, cost tracking, invoicing, and reporting.
- Ensure every project document — from contracts to meeting minutes — is timely, accurate, and properly distributed.
- Coordinate project meetings, track action items, and follow up until they’re complete.
- Manage project financials: prepare invoices, track vendor payments, and support monthly accounting.
- Be the “go-to” person for detail, organisation, and accountability within the project team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in project administration, controls, or accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail — accuracy is non-negotiable in this role.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); Procore or MS Project a plus.
- Experience with financial tracking, forecasting, or project reporting preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Legal, Construction Management preferred.
Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government (AGSVA) security clearance. This role supports major naval and defence infrastructure projects delivered from Adelaide, South Australia.
