About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch; 35 hours a week)
- Setting: Outpatient Program
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and recording detailed health histories
- Administering medications and monitoring reactions
- Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences
- Providing patient education and support
- Maintaining accurate electronic health records
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Nursing experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification
- Proficiency in administering injections and blood draws
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Patient-centric communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in Substance Abuse Treatment programs
- Experience with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of Crisis Management techniques
