The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and growing food manufacturing business, is seeking an experienced Hygiene Supervisor to join their day-shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for food safety to take the next step in their career within a reputable production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support the Hygiene team to ensure all cleaning and hygiene processes meet food safety standards and company KPI's.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including COSHH, Health & Safety, and BRC requirements.

  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules to ensure all areas meet audit standards.

  • Drive a strong culture of health, safety and continuous improvement.

  • Liaise effectively with other departments and external agencies.

  • Participate in site audits and inspections.

  • Deputise for shift managers when required.

About You

To succeed in the role of Hygiene Supervisor, you’ll need:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a food manufacturing or hygiene environment.

  • A good understanding of Food Safety, Health & Safety, and COSHH procedures.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt within a busy, hands-on environment.
