We are seeking an experienced Bag Machine Operator to operate and maintain bag-making equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with square-bottom bags and zipper applications, ensuring high-quality production, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor bag-making machines to produce finished bags according to specifications
  • Run machines producing square-bottom bags and bags with zipper closures
  • Perform machine adjustments, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Monitor production output and minimize waste
  • Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and report mechanical issues as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience operating industrial bag-making machinery
  • Proven experience with square-bottom bag production
  • Proven experience installing and running zipper applications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read job tickets, specifications, and measurements
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift required materials as needed
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in flexible packaging or plastic bag manufacturing
  • Prior experience with high-speed production environments
  • Basic maintenance or technical training
