Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 basic + £55,000 – £60,000 OTE

Are you an experienced water treatment sales professional looking for a role where you can take ownership of a key South East territory, develop major commercial accounts and play a genuine part in growing a sales operation?

Our client is an established and successful business operating within the water treatment industry, and they are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Sales Consultant to join their commercial team.

This is a field and office-based position, covering Uxbridge and the wider South East, with some UK travel required.

The Role

You will take responsibility for developing commercial and industrial water treatment business across the region, managing key customer relationships and identifying new opportunities.

Alongside your own sales activity, you will also work closely with the wider sales team, providing technical and commercial support, sharing industry knowledge and helping colleagues develop their sales capability.

The role will include:

• Developing new commercial and industrial water treatment business across the South East.
• Managing and growing a portfolio of key accounts.
• Building strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular meetings and site visits.
• Identifying new business, cross-selling and additional revenue opportunities.
• Preparing and presenting quotations for water treatment packages and services.
• Following up quotations and converting opportunities into orders.
• Working closely with technical and internal sales teams to develop appropriate customer solutions.
• Providing technical and CPD-style presentations to customers where required.
• Supporting and mentoring members of the sales team with commercial and technical knowledge.
• Monitoring sales performance, forecasting and reporting against agreed targets.
• Supporting marketing activity, exhibitions and customer events.
• Keeping up to date with developments and opportunities within the commercial and industrial water treatment market.

About You

We are looking for an established water treatment sales professional who understands the commercial side of the industry and is confident dealing with customers at all levels.

You should have:

• At least 3 years' experience within water treatment sales, or relevant sales management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial water treatment.
• A proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Experience managing and developing key accounts.
• The ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The confidence to work with customers, technical teams and senior management.
• Good organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider sales team.
• A full UK driving licence.
