Business Protection Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Miami, Florida (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract (Subject to Extension)

 We are seeking a Business Protection Coordinator to support corporate security operations  This role will be responsible for helping ensure the safety, security, and resilience of employees, offices, events, and business operations throughout the region. The successful candidate will partner closely with regional stakeholders, security vendors, and cross-functional teams to manage physical security programs, incident response, risk assessments, and office security initiatives.
This is a highly visible role that requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to work effectively across multiple countries and cultures. The position is based in Miami, Florida and reports to Business Protection leadership supporting both North and Latin American operations.

Former military, veterans, law enforcement, intelligence, and public safety professionals are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience gained through military service, law enforcement, emergency response, intelligence operations, executive protection, investigations, or related security disciplines is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities Security Operations & Risk Management

• Support the safety and security of employees, offices, and business operations across Latin America.
• Monitor and oversee the day-to-day performance of contracted security vendors and guarding teams.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, investigations, and escalations throughout the region.
• Conduct risk assessments for offices, events, executive travel, and operations in higher-risk locations.
• Perform office security audits and recommend improvements to security programs and procedures.
• Support business travelers and visiting staff with security guidance and risk mitigation measures.

Physical Security & Technology

• Partner with technical security teams to administer and maintain access control systems, badging programs, alarms, and physical security technologies.
• Support security planning and implementation for new office openings, renovations, and workplace enhancements.
• Assist with physical security design reviews and recommend best practices for office environments.

Events & Employee Support

• Lead or coordinate security operations for corporate events, activations, campaigns, and high-profile gatherings under the direction of Business Protection leadership.
• Coordinate security planning with vendors, event organizers, and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver security awareness programs and training initiatives that promote a security-conscious culture.

Collaboration & Strategic Support

• Serve as a trusted security partner to regional leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to broader security, employee experience, and business resilience initiatives.
• Provide weekly situational awareness updates and security reporting.
• Assist with special projects supporting expanding regional operations and office growth initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish (written and verbal).
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Political Science, International Relations, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Proven experience in corporate security, physical security operations, intelligence, risk management, crisis management, law enforcement, military service, or related disciplines.
• Experience conducting security assessments, managing incidents, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
• Hands-on experience with access control systems, security technologies, badging programs, and alarm systems.
• Strong understanding of modern security practices and corporate security operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Latin America.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portuguese language proficiency or working comprehension.
• Experience supporting operations across Latin America.
• Familiarity with security platforms such as C•CURE (CCURE) or similar access control systems.
• Experience supporting office construction, security design, or workplace security projects.
• Knowledge of Apple Mac hardware and Google Workspace tools.
• Background in military, intelligence, executive protection, emergency management, investigations, or law enforcement environments.
