Position Summary




Our client, a Florida-based utility and renewable energy company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Renewable Operations Integration Business Services group.

This position focuses on expense review at a granular level, covering wind, solar, and battery storage startup capital budgets. The primary function of this role is to ensure that financial management and budgets accurately reflect actual site-related expenditures.







Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Perform site-level financial cost tracking in support of operational partners' proformas and budgets, providing ongoing feedback for model improvement.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete several complex, long-term projects of varying scale, within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
• Provide financial leadership by supporting Operations leadership in decision-making and strategy development.
• Monitor, recommend, and implement changes for improvement, especially based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain strong prioritization skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work with ambiguity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Site management and the ROI Project Manager.
• Extract, organize, analyze, and report data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Exposure to relevant financial, budgeting, or operational concepts preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Technical/functional excellence and a strong orientation toward learning.
• Familiarity with quality tools and techniques.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Strong knowledge and experience in any power generation or renewable technology, from construction through operations, or any part thereof.
• Ability to create, manage, and support dashboards within the Power BI environment using varied data sources.
