THE OPPORTUNITY
The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for the company’s accounts receivable transactions and debt recovery. Previous experience in accounts receivable is essential. Experience in a construction company would be an advantage.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Daily & weekly billing runs
- Managing email & phone-based queries
- Daily Forecast (Actuals vs Forecast) reporting
- Running of receivable reports
- Follow up on current and overdue accounts
- End of month duties
- Investigating and resolving queries relation to non-payment
- Account reconciliations/Ledgers/Debt Collection & Allocations
- Time efficiency
- Working to monthly and annually collections targets
- General admin support and data entry
ABOUT YOU:
- Three years minimum of equivalent experience within the Construction industry or Credit Control/Accounts Receivable
- Prior knowledge of end-to-end receivables
- Proficient with Salesforce
- Solid AU based Credit Control/Accounts experience
- Methodical worker and calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work co-operatively and effectively as part of a team/autonomously
