Job Summary
This role will analyze data, monitor inventory and supplier performance while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency/reduce costs. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative and able to turn data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate and analyze data related to inventory, procurement, transportation and supplier performance.
- Track supplier and carrier performance against service expectations and escalate issues with supporting analysis.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, service improvement and risk mitigation.
- Monitor supply chain KPIs such as on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, fill rate, lead time and stockout trends.
- Prepare recurring reports and dashboards for operations, procurement and leadership teams.
- Support demand planning, replenishment and inventory optimization activities using historical data and business inputs.
- Investigate supply chain issues, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Help maintain accurate master data in ERP and planning systems, including lead times, item attributes and reorder settings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or an analytical role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Ability to organize data, identify trends and communicate findings clearly.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with inventory planning, forecasting and supply chain KPI reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, or similar tools.
- Understanding of purchasing, transportation, warehousing and supplier management processes.
- Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization and automation.
