Inside Account Manager

We are seeking a motivated Account Manager to manage and grow assigned customer accounts while building long-term client relationships. This role combines consultative sales, account management, and customer engagement, with strong earning potential through commission following an initial training period. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, organized, and driven to succeed in a performance-based sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients

• Understand customer needs, purchasing processes, and business challenges

• Manage and grow revenue within existing accounts

• Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities

• Prepare quotes, pricing, and sales proposals

• Conduct regular account check-ins and follow-ups

• Maintain accurate account notes, forecasts, and activity in CRM systems

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

• Process sales orders, returns, and credits as needed

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

• Ability to learn products, systems, and sales processes

Benefits/Compensation

• Full Time

• First shift (8:30am – 5:30pm)  

• $55,000/yr during initial training period

  • Once training is complete base salary drops to $30,000/yr + commission

  • While earnings vary, the typical middle range for Account Managers is $70,000–$100,000 annually, with lower earnings common in the first year and higher earnings achieved by top performers.
