Data Architect | CONTRACT | Insurance | 90-120M

We’re partnering with a leading international insurer to hire a Data Architect to shape scalable, secure and reusable enterprise data solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to influence data architecture, integration standards and platform modernisation while working closely with business and engineering teams.

What you’ll do:

• Define enterprise and solution-level data architectures and roadmaps.
• Design data models and integration patterns across applications and platforms.
• Establish standards for metadata, data quality, lineage and master data.
• Evaluate technologies for cloud data platforms, warehouses, lakes and analytics.
• Guide architecture reviews and assess security, scalability and resilience.
• Support engineering teams through implementation.

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience in data architecture and enterprise data management.
• Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, data warehousing and lakehouse architectures.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT, APIs, governance, security and privacy controls.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions and influence stakeholders.
